Taking a cue from this idea, Health Chakra launched its first Mobile Dental Health clinic services in Pune, with an aim to provide Health Care services at the doorstep for those who need it.
The initiative was launched by Ravindra Binawade, Additional Commissioner, PMC along with members of the doctor fraternity at the head office of Health Chakra at Koregaon Park.
An initiative by Dr. Ruchira Khanna and Dr. Ankit Khanna practicing dental hygienists for last 16 years and co-founders of Health Chakra with Malay Ghatak and Arun Sharma, this Mobile Dental Health clinic started their services in Pune from Mohamadwadi area which has a cluster of approximately thirty odd societies with a population of about 50000 and more individuals.
“Majority of the population is that of senior citizens for whom travelling to clinics and hospitals is a problem and they would prefer something in their society,” said Dr Ruchira Khanna.
Health Chakra has four Centers in Pune, Koregaon Park, Wanowrie, Kondhwa and Mohammadwadi, offering state of the art dental services using advance technology and equipment like Dental Scanner, Digital X-rays, Laser surgery, Laser Endodontics and Aligners.
