Nashik, Maharashtra.
What A great start of the year 2021.
On 16th December 2020, the Forest Officials along with team Eco Echo, rescued a Jackal from Trimbak region,
Nashik. Preliminary examination revealed that the animal had suffered broken teeth and head trauma. The
Forest Department decided to handover the animal to @resqct Pune for its treatment and care. The jackal
underwent extensive treatment at the Resq facility which included physiotherapy and laser treament. After
almost a fortnight, the jackal was deemed fit for release.
Today, the jackal was transported back to Nashik and released successfully back in the wild. We thank @resqct
and the Forest Department for all the support.
Indeed a happy new year for the beautiful animal and all of us.
