Diwali is still the same but it seems the child inside has grown up and finds a few things as silly! For example, making a ‘killa’ outside the house with cousins and friends along.

But we came across an entire family in Karve Nagar that has kept the fun tradition of making killa during diwali times alive. Meet the Buchake family which comes together every year to make a unique theme ‘killa’ in the premises of their bungalow.

This killa that you see in the video has everything handmade by Mr. Ravindra Buchake and his two grand-daughters, Saee and Sakshi. This killa is entirely modern with features like flyover bridges,150+ vehicles and petrol pump as well!

The most important feature of this creation is that everything has been made using wood & scrap!

Ravindra himself is a ‘Killa enthusiast’ and has a keen sense of imagination. He wants to inspire kids to do activities that fuel their imagination and creativity. So he makes a unique killa every year.

Buchake family is open to having visitors over who want to see this killa.
