The colourful restaurant has taken every bit of it from every village in Orissa. Terracotta and murals are hand-painted on the walls. The beige colour scheme is soothing and pretty. And there are also posters on the walls with dancers depicting their folk dance. All in all the place is bustling with the culture of Odisha.
As for the food, it’s a work of art on a plate. There’s a huge variety for both vegetarians as well non-vegetarians. The menu is vast and it’s also assorted. Ranging from a humble aloo puri that’s dripping with flavours of mustard and earthiness, the mutton and chicken chap was something we couldn’t stop gorging on. Puris are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. If you want to taste it all order a thali. It’ll come with an assortment of aloo, chicken, mutton, carb or prawns whatever is your calling for the moment. And of course, we don’t forget sweets ever do we? Cheena mithai, rasagola and kheer are present to make you happy.
