Though the name Yenna Dosa has become quite popular in Bibwewadi and surroundings, a lot of Punekars are still new to this gem of a foodies’ heaven! With a range of flavours and tasty dishes from down South, the place is a hit over the last 3 years of its operations.

While the regular South Indian fare at Yenna is great, it is the new addition to their menu that caught our eye and we absolutely recommend it. Their latest offering on the menu is Ragi Dosa.

Made using sprouted ragi (finger millets), this dosa is similar to Rava Dosa in its textures but quite earthy in its flavours. Served with a dollop of white butter, it is a delicacy with a lot of nutrition packed in it. All the health benefits of Ragi when sprouted including fibre richness and low calorie are definitely the reasons why one must pay a visit to Yenna Dosa, and yes the yummy flavours too!

Missing a sip of their unique Natti Tea is a sin because it is the only place in Pune serving this Tamilnadu version of our national drink, chai! With a little similarity towards Irani tea, Natti Tea is also made by mixing boiling hot black tea and reduced hot milk! The difference is that the powdered sugar is added last minute and the milk is frothed on the top of the chai glass. The Natti tea specialist at Yenna is nothing short of an artist we would say!

Don’t just drool over the pictures, head over to Yenna Dosa run by Mr. Shetty of 25 year old Nimantran Bar & Restaurant fame.
