Internet and social media brings so many visually appealing recipes to us. But it is not always that you actually get a chance to try those recipes in your city.
One such internet food sensation off late has been Ulta Vadapav and Punekars have a chance to try it out. Maai Wadewale located in Narayan Peth near DES Ramanbaug have introduced this internet sensation in their menu.
We tried “Ulta Vadapav” at Maai Wadewale to find out that the hype is all worth it. Some of you may argue that it is basically Bread Pakoda, but let us tell you that it is not!
Proper vadapav wala Pav is stuffed with all spicy and tangy chutneys and a vada patty before it is coated in gram flour and deep fried. This ensures that the Pav has right flavours inside itself and everything is hot when you take a bite. Usually, that feeling of cold pav and hot vada completely goes away. You get a piping hot delicacy to bite into!
