This small food joint is an exclusive Haleem place in Bhawani Peth. Run by Nausheen Khan and her husband, Haleem Bites serves exceptional and authentic Haleem. Not just mutton but they have other meat options such as Chicken Haleem. We ordered the classic Hyderabad Mutton Haleem. Within a few minutes, a bowl filled with steaming hot Haleem was in front of us. It is served with a generous amount of desi on top ghee, a nice crunch of crispy golden brown onions and roasted cashews. Finally topped off with mint leaves and a lemon slice. One bite of this gooey and meaty haleem; and you’ll be a regular visitor here.

This beautiful cafe in Kausar Bagh, NIBM is the next find! They are an all-time crowded place famous for its authentic Arabic snacks. The Haleem served here is extremely flavourful. Arabian Bites uses handground spices made in-house for their Haleem. One bite and all the rich spices will hit your tastebuds. This place is definitely a must visit as you’ll get Haleem only during Ramadan. A huge steel vessel is set up outside the cafe. The vessel contains almost 10-15 kgs of Haleem. Perfectly churned meat which will literally melt in your mouth.

After a heavy Ramadan meal, you’ll definitely need a refresher! Tahura, a special beverage, is served during Ramadan. It is a sweet blend of cold milk and Khoya (Mawa). In this unbearable heat, Tahura is definitely a saviour.
