One look at this cute little place quietly nestled in Lulla Nagar for 30+ years and you feel there’s a certain charm about it! Not fancy, not very old school and not high on any other gimmicks, but it still invites you in and makes you a part of it, like an old lost friend!
That’s Paul’s for you!
Started by Mr. Naresh Paul himself like 30 years back, this restaurant has been dishing out honest food while continuously updating the menu as per the trends or one’s liking or sometimes as per Mr Naresh’s liking. Be it their kebabs served with chutney, naan and salad or simple humble chowmein; the simplicity of food and good quality of ingredients stand out!
We wanted the world to know about this legend that’s been sitting calmly for nearly three decades doing what it does the best, serving the regular patrons the delicious Indian and Chindian food! One must try the usual Chinese fare there but a stand out dish for us over there is Lemon Coriander Noodles! Do not miss the yummy Chicken Lollipops, they are crunchy and flavourful; and not like the cheap versions that you get roadside.
Talking about their North Indian food, all dishes are fairly homely. Not the typical restaurant style with loads of greasy gravy floating in every sabzi. Be it the Malai Methi Mutter, Butter Chicken or a Mutton Bhuna, you’ll have that homely feeling while eating with a soft tandoori roti.
One thing we have noticed for the past couple years at Paul’s is that every time you visit, you find something new in their decor. It’s just something that has been there but you missed out seeing it all this while! That’s the charm of Paul’s and it grows on you with every visit!
