Malayalee Association Pune is all set to celebrate Onam this year with utmost vigour.

Many a student organization and residents association as well as Kerali organisations are all coming together celebrate the 10 day harvest festival. While the last day of the festival is 8th of September, this year the associations have decided to celebrate the festival through the month.

Harinarayanan, president of Pune Malayalee Federation, an umbrella organization for over 20 Pune Malayalee associations and other groups , said “ Over lakh Malayalees are permanent residents in Pune. Besides, there are 50,000-1 lakh Malayalees  that are floating population here. This year everyone has decided to celebrate Onam in a big way. All Malayalee associations are celebrating Onam on different dates. We can say that the entire month of September will see Onam celebrations across the city.

Based in several locations across the city, Kerala Bhavans need no introduction. They will only be doing dine-in with pre-reservations only.
