The King of Fruits arrived from the African country of Malawi last Friday.
Having a similar look and taste to Ratnagiri Alphonso, however, the prices will be slightly higher.
For a box consisting of approx. 3 kg of Malawi Mangoes, the consumers will need to pay between 4k to 5k.
In a single box approx. 9 to 14 Malawi mangoes fit.
The next lot of mangoes is expected to arrive soon at the Vashi market so that the prices are expected to go down soon.
Generally, Malawi mangoes are enjoyed in the Indian market from November to December.
