Indian skipper and world-famous cricketer Virat Kohli will be inaugurating his first restaurant venture in Pune on Halloween, October 31, 2021.
The restaurant will be called One8commune is the master franchisee of One8’s restaurant chain owned by Mr Ankit Tayal. The idea of One8 is to bind different themes from Midnight Rock Jammers to Sunday Brunch brigades, Low-key Vibe Chillers to Shot-downing party freaks, from the Misunderstood Artists to Corporate Go-Getters and blend them together. One8 Commune was opened in Kolkata earlier this year.
The menu is curated from Virat Kohli’s personal journeys and food experiences and is meant for all- be it the health junkies, meat lovers, or vegetarians with his favorites being the Superfood Salad, Mushroom Googly Dim Sums, Sriracha Tofu Taco, The One “8” Mezze, and Lahori Commune to name a few.
Some of the ‘must-try’ dishes are the Tortellini Alfredo, Red and White Quinoa Salad, Tacos and Five Rivers Mud Cake amongst the others.
One8 Commune will be the first in Pune to bring the cheese wheel where the cheesy pasta is dunked in a hollowed cheese wheel and the heat from the pasta melts the cheese which in turn flavours the pasta.
