For those who have booked and still interested in attending The Open Village Festival, here are a few points to keep in mind. This event is a unique and sustainable event for those looking for an escape from the noise of New Year parties happening across Pune. It’s an experience of events, artistically weaved together, so that you have a wonderful start to the New Year!

It is about connecting with oneself, surrounding nature, the community and feeling content.
It’s a family-friendly experience.
The Farm is a home for 9 dogs, 30 cats, 4 goats, many trees, a few humans and the complete ecology. Any of these, living at The Farm, will not be tied up. Animals living at The Farm may not be friendly with outside pets. So please do not bring your pets along.
The Farm is a consciously built ecology. So it doesn’t have any connecting roads. All the paths at The Farm are hilly paths of bare land and stones. So please wear comfortable shoes and not heels.
31^st December is a winter night. So carry proper woollen clothes, especially for children.
In case you want to drink, then it’s BYOB. It will be better if you can take a drinking licence for yourself. You can get it easily from any wine shop at very affordable fees.
It’s not a DJ party, so please do not request to play DJ number to dance.
The Farm is a ZERO WASTE space. Hence, we will provide crockeries and cutleries, even for your drinks. No need to carry any disposables or tissues along with you. Food stalls are also organized at The Farm, so you no need to carry any food. Outside foods are not allowed, except for babies.
It is New Year’s Eve and there can be heavy traffic. So, leave early and reach on time.
People who wish to drink, please travel via cab or hire a driver for the night. Do Not Drink and Drive.
