Owing to a dip in Covid-19 cases, the city administration has decided to allow “Diwali Pahat”, the popular morning musical events held during the festival. It will be happening after a gap of one year, when India was deep in the clutches of the pandemic. This decision was taken in the Friday’s Covid-19 review meeting headed by Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar.
While many organizations are yet to announce their programmes for Diwali Pahat, Maitra and Anant Theatre have announced a Musical saga event on the morning of November 4, 2021. It will feature songs by Legendary music directors Pt. Hrudaynath Mangeshkar, Shri. Shrinivas Khale, Shri. Sudhir Phadke and more. It will be presented by singer Sandeep Ubale who rose to fame in Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, popular singer Yogita Godbole & versatile singer Radhika Atre in their magical voices along with a crew of talented musicians.
