The satellite designed by Rutuja Shejval of 10th standard from Prodigy Public School , with 10 students from her group, was recently sent to space from Sriharikota space centre.
The event was a part of the programme , “Payload Cube Challenge”, jointly organised by APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation and Space Research India 2021.
Workshops on satellite making were organized and students across India had participated. Rutuja’s mother madhuri Shejwal said a total of 100 satellites, weighing 50-7o Grams were launched on a helium balloon. Rutuja said, ” it seemed difficult in the first place, but later as we learnt, we could complete the design easily.”
