Retired as sub-regional transport officer and having served the Transport Department for 36 long years, Subodh Medsikar has decided to offer his services to PMPML at a mere salary of 1 rupee per month!
This kind gesture of his is supported by Mr Tukaram Mundhe who had initiated this plan to hire-back experienced and retired officers at PMPML for better management and increased profitability. Subodh Medsikar feels that he will prove to be an asset to PMPML because of his experience and knowledge with no extra financial liabilities for the organisation.
His experience includes work of over 36 years in districts as Ratnagiri and Sindhudurga in multiple capacities managing different roles. At PMPML, Medsikar’s appointment was made by the Managing Director, Laxminarayan Mishra as the General Manager.
This definitely is an inspiration to those who are retired but are still willing to contribute towards the society and be able to be productive. Urbanly wishes Subodh Medsikar the best for this new inning and this will surely inspire many more in the coming future!
