For the holy month of Shravan, PMPML has started shuttle services every Sunday and Monday. This is to facilitate the huge crowd visiting the Shiv Temple in Shravan. Only for the first Monday of the month around 2 lakh devotees visited the temple for darshan from across India. It is one of the 12 jyotirlingaa in the country.
Shri Kshetrapal Kalbhaivrah Mandir is situated at a distance of 123 kilometres from Pune. It takes a little over 3 hours to reach it. While the roads are narrow and crowded this time of the year, the innovative idea has being executed to ease the traffic and faster movements too.
While the pandemic had dented the temple goers spirits, the PMPML has ensured to help them cover up for the last 2 years without any hiccups.
The buses will operate every Sunday and Monday for the entire month of Shravan. The pick up point is the parking spot of Bhimashankar to the main temple and will run 24×7 on these days.
For the long weekend planners, 14-15-16 August also the buses will be fully operational. Do visit the temple for the scenic routes and if you’re lucky you might see few snakes also in the streams running in between the temple for added adventure.
