Necessary facilities for pets will be modernised and a super specialty veterinary hospital will be set up at Aundh in Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal area to provide special services. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will provide ₹ 2 crore for the construction of this hospital building.
The Chief Executive Officer of Pune Zilla Parishad had sent a letter to NMC on September 2 requesting ₹ 2 crore for the Super Specialty Veterinary Hospital at Aundh. A super specialty veterinary hospital has been planned at Aundh in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal limits for modern and effective services by modernising the necessary facilities and providing special services for pets.
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Area has a large number of pets (small and large). The desire to nurture pets has been growing day by day. These animals need timely diagnosis, treatment and care by high quality specialists.
