He is fashion personified and loves his sunglasses and shoes so much that he travels with a bag full of coordinated pairs, this is actor Siddharth Jadhav, who while speaking about his latest film Lochya Zala Re, shares his ‘love-lochya’ with Urbanly.

“I love doing different things and getting to play different characters. It comes easy when you are an actor hailing form Lalbaug and Parel area where acting starts early with performances in our galli natak mandala,” smiles Siddarth through his blue tinted glasses.

“I enjoyed the journey of playing ‘Manav’ in ‘Lochya Zala Re’ and while playing my character, shooting in London brought back memories of my love life,” said Siddharth, who was shooting three films and was in London for three months. “I have not yet seen Lords, but it’s on my wish list,” added this ardent cricket fan.

“I was young and met Trupti, my wife, during a play audition. I was a nobody then and she wanted to be a journalist. I liked her the moment I saw there and decided to propose to her. So after following her local train schedule, I finally proposed marriage right under the Elphinstone Road station platform indicator. She being sensible, spoke of first getting to know each other and we became friends first,” said Siddharth.

It was during their early days of dating that Siddharth had promised his wife that one day he would take her to Switzerland. He fulfilled his promise and the opportunity came when Maharashtra Mandal in Switzerland invited Siddharth for an event. “The organisers asked what my remuneration would be, instead I requested if I could bring my wife with me and they agreed! Thus taking her out for her very first international trip. She was so happy that day for we had together dreamt of this trip,” smiled Siddharth.
