Do you avoid Dahi Vada at normal restaurants because they are too sweet? Then this post is for you! Have you been craving for the chatpata original Punjabi style Dahi Bhalle in Pune? Then this post is for you!

This small food stall run by a mother-daughter who hail from Amritsar is the right place to hit for a plate of original Punjabi Dahi Bhalle. Unlike the typical restaurant style super sweet Dahi Vadas, these are tangy, spicy, crunchy and chatpata and they are called Dahi Bhalle! These ladies make everything in their home kitchen and put up the stall in the evening with the fresh food. Their food stall is rightly named as Dilli Ki Rasoi.

Spongy mix dal vadas are topped with cold & not-so-sweet creamy curd, green pudina chutney, tangy tamarind chutney, homemade chaat masala, chatpate aloo, crispy papdis and crunchy sev. This makes it a plate of full-fledged chaat! Chatpata aloo in this one adds a new layer of flavour and texture to Dilli style Dahi Bhalle in Pune!

The stall is clean, the food is fresh and the ladies serve you with so much warmth that you get teleported to Punjab for a moment! Hands down these are officially better than any other Dahi Bhalle or Dahi Vadas served commercially in Pune. If you have any inhibitions about street food, just forget those just for Dilli Ki Rasoi. Their food is unlike anything you have eaten in Pune before, it is all home-cooked and served quite hygienically.
