Relish the taste of Bihar at Pune’s latest Litti Chokha joint and it has a twist too! Litti Factory in Karve Nagar not just serves Litti Chokha but a few more authentic Bihari dishes. Just reading the menu, you’ll be tempted to try them. This place serves Littis not only with Chokha but also with Kalika Mutton Curry and Champaran Chicken Curry. In desserts, you must have their mouth-watering Laung Lata!
Litti Factory is run by three passionate foodies, Vrushali Deshpande, Adideo Kumar Verma and Usha Bhaskar. In 2021, they started Litti Factory and since then, it has been on top of the list for Bihari cuisine.
What makes this place special is the quality and no compromise on the flavors. First we tried their Champaran Chicken Curry & Litti, and our heart skipped a beat! The chicken pieces are so tender and juicy that they easily fall off bone. As the curry is made with inhouse ingredients, the flavors are so homely. The spice of this curry hits after 2-3 bites.
Made with whole wheat flour and stuffed with roasted Sattu (gram flour), the littis here are roasted on an open charcoal grill and then dipped in desi ghee. You can even eat the Litti as it is, so tasty! The Litti has a nice smokey and earthy flavor to it which level ups the curry dishes. We suggest that you eat this dish while it’s smokey hot! Accompanied by onions and sliced lemon, this Litti meal will leave you hooked.
As good their non-veg meal is, the Chokha is also upto the mark. Subtle hint of chilies and simply roasted, this Chokha is made with no oil! The Chokha is made with roasted veggies and spices giving a taste like no other veg dish! We challenge you to eat the Chokha and guess the veggies used, trust us you’ll be surprised.
Transport yourself to Bihar with such delicious dishes. Litti Factory leaves no stone unturned while serving their authentic Bihari cuisine!
