Ajantha was established by Ashok Abhyankar which is now run by his son Amit Abhyankar. It is a true legacy passed on through generations. In the beginning, this place used to serve only one flavour i.e. Kesar Shrikhand. Looking at the response and customers’ love for Shrikhand, Ashok ji started to experiment and launched new flavours.
Well, these flavours definitely captured our attention and we had to try out this delicacy! We couldn’t resist and ordered all 9 flavours of Shrikhand at Ajantha. Soon a tray filled with colourful Shrikhands was served in front of us. One spoonful of these Shrikhand and our souls were satisfied. Flavours such as Pista-Badam, Kesar, Mango, Strawberry, Fig, Pineapple, Custard-Apple, Butterscotch and Chatpata Peru are made here.
This smooth goodness of Shrikhand flavours are made from fresh fruits with no preservatives or food colouring. Hold on though! Not only creamy Shrikhand but they also put fresh chopped fruits in it. Altogether it’s a refreshing delicacy to eat in this hot climate.
All the varieties have their own special flavour making it different from one another. Not only the divine taste but the creamy texture of these Shrikhand is also to die for. Which makes this homemade churned goodness unique from other Shrikhand, available in the market.
