But don’t you worry, Ghoomar Traditional Thali, a restaurant chain which has been proudly serving the premium and authentic Rajasthani Thalis since 2016 has opened up its first franchise in Pune. The thali restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Elpro City Mall, PCMC.
Ghoomar Traditional Thali Restaurant has superb quality food combined with fun and enjoyable ambience creating an extraordinary dining experience. The restaurant has artifacts from Rajasthan and sometimes even a folk musician playing Ravanhatta roams around the place adding to the Rajasthani feel.
Their Rajasthani thali has 2 welcome drinks and 3 starters. The Main course has 2 sabzi, 1 Dal, 1 Kadhi, 1 Gatta sazi, 1 Aloo Sabzi and Rice. The third section is of the accompaniments which has Baati Churma, Rotis, 2 Sweets and Khichda. To go with this, you also have green chutney, Lahsun Chutney, Mirchi ke tapore, Kair Sangri and Papad. The sabzi and starters change everyday. All the food items are authentic right from starters to the desserts. The Thali is unlimited and is priced at Rs. 600/- Per Person.
They update the menu on their website everyday. So don’t worry about not having the sweet or menu item you like. The seating is spacious and there is a beautiful tree at the center giving village vibes. They also offer pagdis to add to your Rajasthani experience. Next time you think of gorging on Rajasthani, you know which door to knock!!!
