Rambo circus on 26 January 2022 celebrated its 31st birthday in Wadgaon Budruk Sinhagad road. Though the Indian circus has gone through a very bad phase during the past two years, nothing could dampen the joy on the faces of the circus artistes who were happy to be performing again.

The present Rambo Circus has shows like Flying Trapeze, Double Balance, Comic Juggling, Ladder Balance, Boat Bar, Candle, Rola Bola, Baby Rope, Water Show, Stick Balance, Cube, Dog Show, Ring Dance, Clown, Lasho, Garman Wells, Aerial, Bicycle Special, and rings of death as the finale.

The Rambo Circus celebrated its day of initiation (T Dilip began it on 26 January) by remembering the founder of Indian circus, Vishnupant Chhatre , followed by a cake cutting ceremony by clowns in the presence of circus performers, who then marched around the tent with tri colour in their hands chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘Circus Chirayu Ho’.

Author of the books ‘Circus World’ and ‘World Of Circus’ Praveen P. Walimbe said.

“We are grateful to the circus industry for providing annual financial assistance to the circus industry during the corona period,” said Sujit Dilip, a partner at Rambo Circus.

Rambo Circus has two shows every day at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm. Ticket prices are Rs 150, Rs 250, Rs 350 and Rs 500 and there is a separate parking arrangement. The circus has 60 performers and a capacity of 700 spectators. According to the current rules, only 50% of the audience is allowed. The circus will be at Sinhagad Road till the end of February.
