A graphic designer by profession, she worked with well-established design houses but it wasn’t enough for her. Soon, she fell in love with handicrafts and built a brand that now aims to reach a turnover of 1 Cr by 2022.
Ketaki Torane, founder-manager of Craft Village India strongly believes in preserving and promoting Indian culture and is one of the first women to blend traditional fabrics like ‘khun’ into contemporary everyday wear. .
This interview focuses on understanding her dedication in revival of traditional handicrafts and her vision as an entrepreneur.
