The Western Railway declared that it will run a Superfast Duronto Special between Ahmedabad and Pune for the convenience of passengers and to tackle the rush.
Train number 02297 Ahmedabad-Pune will leave Ahmedabad at 10-30PM every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday from March 16th and is scheduled to reach Pune at 7:10AM the next day morning.
Similarly, train number 02298 Pune-Ahmedabad will leave Pune at 9:35PM every Monday, Thursday, Saturday from March 15th and is expected to reach Ahmedabad at 6:40AM the next day morning till further notice, the officials said.
Along the way, the train will halt at Vasai Road and Lonavala stations. This train has 1st AC, AC 2Tier and AC 3Tier . The bookings commence on March 15th at nominated PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. The train will run fully reserved, the rail authorities said.
