Dr. Deepak Shikarpur is a well-known name in the IT industry since he’s written 42 books on IT & he himself is an IT entrepreneur! Recently we caught up with him at the launch event of GudNewz website & he shared his birthday plans with us!
What he shared with us certainly caught our attention & we’d like to share this with our readers of GudNewz.
The lockdown wasn’t very easy for a lot of people in India & affected each one of us in a different way. The children had to shift their learning towards an online method & a smartphone was the cheapest possible option for parents to access online education.
However, certain poor farmers in Maharashtra were forced to sell the cattle (The cows specifically) to sponsor the smartphones necessary for online education. When Dr Shikarpur learnt about this unfortunate situation, he took a decision to donate a cow to one such farmer on his birthday.
He also has made an appeal to fellow citizens that they also can do the same this on their birthday & donate a cow to a farmer in need. It certainly is a valuable asset to the farmer that helps him in farming & is a regular source of income as well.
