Atrangi Mansa (अतरंगी माणसं) on Shastri Road, Pune has been serving 2 new flavors everyday from the soft serve ice cream machine. So far, they have served more than 80 flavors! Yes, a whopping 80 unique flavors of softy ice cream like Ratnagiri Alphonso, Blueberry cheesecake, Jamun, Coconut, Kiwi, Pineapple, Pina Colada and more innovative ones. Red Wine when we tried in softy ice cream, was more like a creamy wine that has a silky mouth feel to it! The Irish Coffee is your summer time replacement for the yummy Baileys. But let me remind you, that all these ice creams have zero alcohol in it. But the flavors are on point!
Not just softy, but their scooping ice cream flavors are also equally unique. Made from 100% milk, we tried flavors like Midnight Mania that has 90% dark chocolate, Banarasi Meetha Paan, Ukadicha Modak, Cotton Candy, Japanese Matcha! The makers have aptly named this ice cream shop, Atrangi Mansa. This is probably Pune’s only such shop having a unique name and even more unique products on offer.
The ice creams are all made in-house. All the recipes have been perfected by the owner, Mr. Bhushan Takawale who started this ice cream shop in Pune a couple of years back. Right from the facade to the indoor lounging section, this shop is absolutely funky. Splash of colors, fun elements and elegant lights make this outlet the most fun ice cream shop in Pune!
