Punekars, have you always been on a hunt for the authentic, flaky and famous Amritsari Kulchas? Well then, the hunt is over! The famous Kulcha Kulture, originating from Amritsar, is here to tell Pune how the original kulchas are!

For those who don’t know (and even those who know) what Amritsari Kulchas are, you are in for a mouth-watering read! It’s a divine flatbread cooked in tandoor that is filled with a stuffing of your choice and is crispy, fluffy and soft on the inside! Kulcha Kulture serves 20+ varieties of these Kulchas with typical Delhi style Chhole & an Amul butter chiplet! We tried what we found out to be hatke fillings and we were really happily surprised with taste of even a bizarre-est kulcha on the menu! We had-

1. Patty Kulcha:
Stuffed with potato, onion, capsicum, paneer, sweet corn, grated carrot and beetroot, this Kulcha actually had ingredients of that of a patty. It was quite chatpata in flavour! The bite of sweet corn inside really complimented other ingredients and made the flavours stand out!

2. Maggi Kulcha:
A Kulcha filled with cooked Masala Maggi! And with a drizzle of the same masala on top of the finished Kulcha! How will this not taste good? We loved the combo of crispy layer of Kulcha on the outside and the soft maggi texture on the inside! And the best part was the maggi which had peeped outside and come on the top layer while shaping the dough . It becomes crispy and perfectly charred in the tandoor.

3. Chocolate Kulcha:
We found chocolate Kulcha to be yet another hatke flavour here. Filled with Oreo biscuits, this will surely be loved by kids as well as the kid in you! Topped with chocolate sauce and served with chocolate dip, this is your desi version of chocolate pancake cum waffle!

4. Chur Chur Kulcha:
It resembles the classic Chur Chur Naan, but with stuffing! Filled with potato, onion,, paneer, carrot, beetroot, spinach and Indian spices, its topped with bread crumbs to make it extra kurkura!

5. Hariyali Kulcha:
As the name says, this Kulcha is stuffed with green peas, spinach, capsicum, mint and spices. This kulcha is surely a tasty and one of the healthy options on the menu.

The brand owner Mr. Babal Deep Singh himself hails from Punjab. With their in-house recipes, he has got his expert team from the land of Kulchas to serve Punekars the taste of Amritsar! We suggest you to visit this restaurant for a hearty meal of kulchas and chole. Served as a wholesome meal along with the Punjabi chutney made with Imli, beetroot and onions, the Kulchas are so tasty that they can be eaten just like that!
